On behalf of the CAREB Board of Directors and our membership across Canada, I would like to submit the response to the call for consultations on the Draft 2nd Edition of the TCPS due June 30, 2009. This initiative was headed by Susan Marlin, who was President of CAREB at the time the call was announced by the Interagency Advisory Panel on Research Ethics (PRE) and includes the feedback of many contributors that are committed and engaged to improving the research ethics system in Canada.
